Same inversion as the config path, same one word fix, missed the
first time. Both are called with the wiphy mutex held, so the walk
can rely on that instead of taking the list mutex.
No new splat: same class pair as the accepted fix, and lockdep
reports a pair once per boot.

mt7925e_mac_reset() ignores the return value of
mt792xe_mcu_drv_pmctrl(), unlike the two pmctrl calls later in the same
function. When the driver-own handshake fails,
__mt792xe_mcu_drv_pmctrl() returns -EIO without reinitialising WPDMA or
clearing MT76_STATE_PM, and the reset carries on: it writes the
interrupt enable registers, cycles NAPI, resets WPDMA and calls
mt7925_run_firmware() on a chip the driver does not own.
Return the error instead. The call is the first statement in the
function, before MT76_RESET is set and before the TX worker and NAPI
are disabled, so nothing needs unwinding.

mt7925_config() has the same inversion as mt7921_config(): it holds
dev->mutex across ieee80211_iterate_active_interfaces(), which takes
local->iflist_mtx, while mac80211 calls drv_unassign_vif_chanctx() with
iflist_mtx already held.
.config is only reached through drv_config(), which asserts the wiphy
mutex, so use ieee80211_iterate_active_interfaces_mtx() here too.

mt7921_config() holds dev->mutex across
ieee80211_iterate_active_interfaces(), which takes local->iflist_mtx.
mac80211 uses the opposite order: ieee80211_del_virtual_monitor() holds
iflist_mtx while calling drv_unassign_vif_chanctx(), and
mt792x_unassign_vif_chanctx() takes dev->mutex.
Deleting a monitor interface that has a channel assigned reaches the
second order and lockdep reports the cycle. The driver side of it:

.config is only reached through drv_config(), which asserts the wiphy
mutex, so ieee80211_iterate_active_interfaces_mtx() can be used. It walks
the same list under the wiphy mutex and never takes iflist_mtx, which
drops the driver's dev->mutex -> iflist_mtx edge.

mt76_npu_device_active() and mt76_ppe_device_active() read dev->mmio.npu
and dev->mmio.ppe_dev. The mmio, usb and sdio bus structs share a union in
struct mt76_dev, so on USB and SDIO these read unrelated data from the
usb/sdio struct, which is non-NULL in practice.
mt76_npu_device_active() then returns true on USB, and
mt76_rx_poll_complete() takes the offload path and skips
mt76_rx_aggr_reorder(). RX A-MPDU subframes are delivered out of order and
the peer's TCP stack treats that as loss: heavy retransmissions and reduced
throughput in AP mode. Seen on mt7921u, mt7925u, mt76x2u and mt76x0u.
Gate both helpers on mt76_is_mmio() so they only run for the bus type that
owns the mmio union member.

When the fcsfail filter is enabled the hardware passes frames with a bad
FCS up to the driver, but mt76x02_mac_process_rx() never checks

The MPDU length in the rx descriptor comes from the hardware. In
monitor mode with the fcsfail filter enabled, the hardware passes up
corrupted frames, and a corrupted frame can report a length larger
than the received buffer. The bounds check correctly discards such
frames, but its WARN_ON_ONCE wrapper means any over-the-air garbage
frame taints the kernel, and panics it on the first such frame when
panic_on_warn is set.
Drop the WARN and discard the frame silently, matching what
commit c2d4c8723dbf ("mt76x2: remove some harmless WARN_ONs in tx
status and rx path") did for the neighboring rx and tx status paths.
Observed immediately on rx with an MT7612U in fcsfail monitor mode
