Sean WangandFelix Fietkau 837eda0e25 wifi: mt76: mt792x: quiesce USB paths on disconnect
USB disconnect can leave reset/init work, TX worker, and MCU waiters active
while the device is being removed. Stop those paths before unregistering
the device to avoid teardown waiting on firmware or queue activity after
disconnect.

Run WFSYS reset after USB queue deinit so removal does not issue the reset
while USB traffic may still be queued.

Sean WangandFelix Fietkau ece1f4a5a8 wifi: mt76: mt792x: enable USB UDMA TX timeout
Configure the USB UDMA TX timeout limit and enable timeout detection
during DMA initialization, matching the vendor driver setup. Use a
longer timeout to avoid false alarms.

Sean WangandFelix Fietkau 91828c69db wifi: mt76: mt792x: stop USB register access after bus hang
Mark the mt792x USB bus hung on the first control timeout and switch
register access to no-op bus ops. Each failed vendor request may spend
up to MT_VEND_REQ_MAX_RETRY * MT_VEND_REQ_TOUT_MS, about 3 seconds, and
teardown/reset paths can keep issuing such requests after the device has
stopped responding.

Also skip the USB WFSYS reset path after bus_hung is set, since it uses
UHW vendor requests as well.

Avoid repeating those register reads after the bus is known to be hung by
switching register access to no-op handlers.

Sean WangandFelix Fietkau 91f19ba393 wifi: mt76: mt7921u: escalate broken USB transport to device reset
Check the USB control path before running the normal WFSYS reset flow.

If USB access is no longer reliable, stop the WFSYS-only reset path,
mark the device as bus_hung, and queue a USB device reset instead.

Reuse the existing bus_hung state to represent transport-level failure,
keeping the semantics consistent with the SDIO path.

Also initialize bus_hung explicitly during probe for consistency.

Sean WangandFelix Fietkau 600dbf1233 wifi: mt76: mt792x: add common USB transport reset helpers
Add per-device USB reset work and a control-path access check helper
for mt7921u and mt7925u.

This prepares common infrastructure for transport-level recovery while
keeping the reset state per-device for correct lifetime handling.

No functional change intended.

Johan HovoldandFelix Fietkau 0aca66c123 wifi: mt76: mt792xu: drop redundant device reference
Driver core holds a reference to the USB interface and its parent USB
device while the interface is bound to a driver and there is no need to
take additional references unless the structures are needed after
disconnect.

Drop the redundant device reference to reduce cargo culting, make it
easier to spot drivers where an extra reference is needed, and reduce
the risk of memory leaks when drivers fail to release it.

Sean WangandFelix Fietkau 2e2962f9e1 wifi: mt76: mt792x: fix mt7925u USB WFSYS reset handling
mt7925u uses different reset/status registers from mt7921u. Reusing the
mt7921u register set causes the WFSYS reset to fail.

Add a chip-specific descriptor in mt792xu_wfsys_reset() to select the
correct registers and fix mt7925u failing to initialize after a warm
reboot.

Felix Fietkau 33f29d2345 wifi: mt76: relicense to BSD-3-Clause-Clear
MediaTek has asked to switch from the ISC license to BSD-3-Clause-Clear,
in order to improve clarity and the legal integrity of the code.

The BSD-3-Clause license includes the "no endorsement" clause, which is
important for protecting the reputation of the original authors and
contributors by preventing unauthorized use of their names for endorsement
purposes.

This clause is absent in the BSD-2-Clause license, which is more permissive
but lacks this specific protection.

This change also cleans up the license of some Kconfig/Makefile files,
which were accidentally marked as GPL.

The GPL 2.0 remains in use on mt76x0, as well as two source files in mt7615
for which the license situation still needs to be clarified.
