Felix Fietkau c0af238844 wifi: mt76: mt7915: report RX chain signal for all RX paths
status->chains was set from the antenna mask, which is derived from the
number of spatial streams, while the chain_signal array is filled from
all RCPI fields. On boards where the number of RX paths exceeds the
stream count, e.g. the 3T3R mt7916/mt7981 variant with 2 streams on the
5 GHz band, the RSSI of the extra chains was never reported.

Use the band local RX path chainmask instead.

Chad MonroeandFelix Fietkau af601a725f mt76: mt7915: trigger L1 SER on PLE MDP RIOC hang
WM firmware can enter a partial failure state where RX is hung.

Detect this condition by monitoring SER_PLE_ERR_1 for MDP_RIOC_HANG_ERR
and trigger L1 SER to restore operation. Use transition detection on the
error bit to fire only once per new occurrence, preventing an infinite
SER loop when the bit remains set across checks.

When a firmware watchdog triggers full SER recovery before any VAPs
are up, mac80211 skips drv_reconfig_complete() because open_count is
zero. This leaves the DRIVER queue stop reason set permanently,
blocking all TX when interfaces eventually start.

Felix Fietkau 8f1dae620e wifi: mt76: mt7915: unlink TWT flow if the MCU rejects the agreement
The flow is added to dev->twt_list before sending the agreement to the
firmware, but the error path leaves it linked while flowid_mask is
never set. The flow slot can then be reused and memset while still on
the list, corrupting twt_list, and station removal leaves a dangling
entry behind that mt7915_mac_twt_sched_list_add() later walks.

Felix Fietkau cdc6c0d07c wifi: mt76: fix 4th chain ACK RSSI bitmask in sta_poll
The per-chain response-frame RSSI values are packed one per byte, but the
4th chain was extracted with GENMASK(31, 14) instead of GENMASK(31, 24).
The wrong mask overlaps chains 1-3 and shifts by 14, producing a garbage
chain-3 value that corrupts ack_signal/avg_ack_signal on 4x4 radios.

David BauerandFelix Fietkau b1f962a838 wifi: mt76: mt7915: configure noise floor reporting on reset
When performing a full system recovery of the MCU on a dual-phy
platform, band 0 (usually 2.4GHz) stops reading correct noise floor
data.

This is due to noise floor reporting only being configured correctly
for the second device PHY.

Configure the respective registers correctly after restarting the MCU
firmware to fix reported noise-floor values.

Felix Fietkau c63db0fcad wifi: mt76: mt7915: add WDS support when WED is enabled
The current WED only supports 256 wcid, whereas mt7986 can support up to
512 entries, so firmware provides a rule to get sta_info by DA when wcid
is set to 0x3ff by txd. Also, WED provides a register to overwrite txd
wcid, that is, wcid[9:8] can be overwritten by 0x3 and wcid[7:0] is set
to 0xff by host driver.

However, firmware is unable to get sta_info from DA as DA != RA for
4addr cases, so firmware and wifi host driver both use wcid (256 - 271)
and (768 ~ 783) for sync up to get correct sta_info.

Currently WDS+WED config is completely broken on MT7986/7981 devices if
without this patch.

Felix Fietkau 33f29d2345 wifi: mt76: relicense to BSD-3-Clause-Clear
MediaTek has asked to switch from the ISC license to BSD-3-Clause-Clear,
in order to improve clarity and the legal integrity of the code.

The BSD-3-Clause license includes the "no endorsement" clause, which is
important for protecting the reputation of the original authors and
contributors by preventing unauthorized use of their names for endorsement
purposes.

This clause is absent in the BSD-2-Clause license, which is more permissive
but lacks this specific protection.

This change also cleans up the license of some Kconfig/Makefile files,
which were accidentally marked as GPL.

The GPL 2.0 remains in use on mt76x0, as well as two source files in mt7615
for which the license situation still needs to be clarified.

StanleyYP WangandFelix Fietkau 9bacdb2bf2 wifi: mt76: mt7915: rework radar HWRDD idx
The definition of MT_RX_SEL (for rdd_rx_sel) is mixed with the
definition of HWRDD idx.
For example, MT_RX_SEL2 is for background HWRDD idx, not an option
of rdd_rx_sel.
Therefore, add mt7915_get_rdd_idx as a helper function to get the
HWRDD idx for each variants.

Additionally, remove some parts of the code inherited from the legacy
chips.
For instance,
1. rdd_state is used for single-band-dual-HWRDD chips (for 80+80),
especially the 76xx series.
2. rdd_rx_sel is also used for single-band-dual-HWRDD chips
rx_sel = 0 => RDD0 for WF0, RDD1 for WF2
rx_sel = 1 => RDD0 for WF1, RDD1 for WF3

Ryder LeeandFelix Fietkau 2c172bb6cd wifi: mt76: mt7915: fix band_idx usage
The commit 006b9d4ad5bf introduced phy->band_idx to accommodate the
band definition change for mt7986 so that the band_idx of main_phy
can be 0 or 1. Accordingly, the source of band_idx 1 has switched to
"phy != &dev->phy" or "dev->phy.band_idx = 1".

We still use ext_phy to represent band 1 somewhere in driver, so fix it.
Also, band_idx sounds more reasonable than dbdc_idx, so change it.
